FAQ:

Q. What is a Street Team?
A. Wikipedia - "A street team is a term used in marketing to describe a group of people who 'hit the streets' promoting an event or a product. 'Street Teams' are promotional tools that have been adopted industry wide as a standard line item in marketing budgets by entertainment companies, record labels, the tech industry, corporate brand marketers, new media companies and direct marketers worldwide." You won't be hitting the streets, but you will be hitting the World Wide Web.

Q. What do I have to do exactly?
A. As a Pit Crew member, you will help promote virtual book tours by commenting on tour stops, sharing the pages with your Social Networks, groups, and mailing lists. Stop in and comment on tours at various stops or all the stops, then share the post with your networks.

Q. What do I get out of it?
A. We will hold a variety of prize giveaways for such things as Kindle Fires, Amazon Gift Cards, Free Swag, Free Books etc. Prizes will be different each month. Each time you participate you help an author gain more exposure.

Q. When will prizes be awarded?
A. At the beginning of each month, we will send out an email to all Pit Crew team members, announcing the winners and prizes they have won.

Q. How do you know if I participated or not?
A. When you join our FB Group, you can like and comment "Done" under the blog tour posts inside the group, or comment on a tour, put "Pit Crew" as your signature. Eg. BK Walker - Pit Crew. You can also tag the Virtual Book Tour Cafe' in facebook, or use our @VBTCafe twitter handle when sharing, or include #vbtcafetours in your tweets.
